Dr. Leigh Anne Pearman was born in Louisville and moved to Elizabethtown with her family in 1977.  She received a B.S. in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky and her M.D. from the University of Louisville.  She completed her pediatric training as a resident at Kosair Children’s Hospital.  From there she returned to her hometown of Elizabethtown to fulfill the dream of opening a private pediatric practice in 1997.

        Dr. Pearman and her husband, James, have one daughter, Anne Elizabeth.  They enjoy time together as a family boating, gardening, and attending UK sporting events and the theater.  They are active members of Memorial United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.
